One Weave began with a simple conviction: talent is everywhere — opportunity isn't. We fund the tools, training, and support that let young people and survivors weave a future of their own making.
One Weave emerged from years of building relationships with partners in India, Nepal, and the Philippines. Time and again, we encountered young people who had the skills and determination to create a better life but lacked the resources to do so. This wasn't due to a lack of talent — it was because they didn't have access to a sewing machine, vocational training, or someone to help open doors to opportunity.Years of work with partners in India, Nepal, and the Philippines showed us the same thing over and over: young people with real talent and determination, held back only by a missing sewing machine, a training placement, or someone to open a door.

One Weave is a Michigan-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and our work is just beginning. We seek to engage, empower, and support survivors of modern-day slavery — including human trafficking and child sexual abuse — and at-risk individuals and communities living in impoverished areas.
